  14. J.Khua says:

Greetings,i would like to know if this bicycle is practical for my daily commute to work from Sengkang to novena which is around 12km one way.Secondly can i park the bicycle then remove the battery for charging in my office? Cheers

    • Shun says:

      Hi J.Khua,

Yes it is practical. The range of the bike is 30km per charge. As long as you charge your battery while you are at home and at work, you will have no problems in travelling between these 2 places.

Yes, you can park the bike and remove the battery to bring it to your office for charging. There will be a charger and it works just like how you would charge your handphone.

      Hope it helps!

  15. Ng Kian Hong says:

    Hi,
I am a stroke patient, handicap on the right side of my body..
I would love to ride a bike again.
Can XDD be fitted with trainer wheels behind for my stability in riding?

  16. Dolly says:

hi I’m looking for a an electric bicycle for my father in law. Preferably foldable n easy to pedal. Will small wheels affect the speed of the bicycle? What is the fastest it can go? Which model would u recommend? Need to know so I can work out our budget. also he will be using it n may have to park at mrt for the day until ge comes back from work to ride it home but I read it’s not advisable? Thanks.

  17. Daniel says:

Hi, Is it possible to inflate the tyres using a normal bicycle pump ? Also if the inner tube goes flat, can it be changed at any shop ?

  18. Jaye says:

Hi, if I were to buy the xiao ding dang… Can I fit it into a cab to get home?

  19. Daniel says:

Hi. Is the battery easy to remove ? Will removing the battery daily damage it ? Is the battery easy to steal if left in the bicyle ?

    • Shun says:

      Hi Daniel,

The battery pack is easy to remove.

Nope, it will not damage it.

The battery pack is actually locked to the bike frame ( can be unlocked with the key ) . It is not easy to steal. The thief will have to literally pull the battery pack away from the bike frame and in the process will definitely make a scene and alot of noise.

  20. Aik Beng says:

Hi, If i park the bicycle outdoor, will the motor/battery overheat under the sun ? and does it come with a bike cover to protect from rain and sunshine. Thanks

    • Shun says:

      Hi Aik Beng,

It will be all right, but it is best not to let the battery be under direct sunlight. It doesn’t come with a cover. Please ask the uncle about the bike cover when you are at the shop.

      Thank you!

  21. Fai says:

Umm.. does this comes equipped with an anti-theft system or alarm system ?

  22. Chin How Loon says:

    Hi,
I’m thinking of buying this bike. But I will be parking it near an MRT station over night. I wonder how safe this is and what measures can be considered to prevent theft.
    thanks

    • Shun says:

      Hi Mr Chin,

I will strongly advise you NOT to park your electric bike near an MRT station overnight. There is nothing much you can do…. Even if you install alarm plus double locks , it can still be stolen if there’s nobody near the bike and the thieves have the whole night to slowly carry the bicycle.

My recommendation: Park it inside your house/ work place or at least remove the battery when you leave the bike.

  23. Sean says:

Thanks for the quick reply. Is the lead-acid battery interchangeable with a lithium-ion battery on this one? How heavy is the lead acid-battery on its own?

  24. Sean says:

Why is this bike comparatively heavier than most of the other bikes despite the fact that it looks smaller?

    • Shun says:

      Hi Sean,

It uses lead-acid batteries as compared to the other bikes which use lithium batteries.

Lead-acid batteries are much heavier than llithium batteries. Hope that helps.

  25. Welkin says:

Hello! Is the bike able to handle 2 people traveling and if i want a helmet and a basket, how much will it cost altogether?

    • Shun says:

      Hi Welkin,

Yes it is able to carry 2 person ( rider plus pillion )

Please call 91789286 to inquire about the price of the helmet and the basket.

      Thank you!

  26. Malvin says:

Can it fix for 2 baby sitters? Front sit in the middle? Please advise

  27. muawwiz khan says:

Hi, just wanted to know if the battery is detachable from the bicycle for ease of charge?

    • Shun says:

      Hi Khan,

Yes it is easily detachable such that you can leave the bike outside your house, and bring only the battery in for recharge.

  28. Lokie says:

    Can a box be fitted?

  29. Kelwin says:

Hi do you do delivery for the bicycle? if so how much will it cost? Also how do you charge the battery? must the entire bike be plugged in or can we take out the battery and charge it indoors with the bike parked outside the house/office?

  30. Melvin Chan says:

How much time does it need to get fully charged & how many cycles (or times) can the batteries re-charge?

And if the batteries are damaged how much would it cost to replace them?

How long warranty does it come with & does it cover if the batteries are faulty for normal wear & tear within warranty?

    • Shun says:

      Hi Melvin,

      1) About 4-5 hours for full charge

      2) the battery can last for about 1-2 years, depending on how often you charge ( say once per 2 days or once per day)

      3) for Xiao Ding Dang lead acid battery, it will cost around $170.

      4) Our warranty is such that, within 1 year, if you damage any part of your bikes ( i.e., punctured tire), we will only charge you for the part fee and not the labour fee.

      5) Battery will naturally weaken after 1 year and naturally, our warranty does not covers that as it is considered as wear and tear.

  31. Winnie says:

Hi how heavy can this bike carry?

As in the total weight that this bike is able to carry is?

    is 120kg ok?

  32. kelly says:

Can email me the picture of the colour.

    • Shun says:

Hello. Sorry currently I dont have pictures of the different colours of XDD. I will get them up in due time. But just take note that the colours are as what they are. Normal Red/Normal Black/ Normal blue. Nothing to fanciful.

  33. Taniajura says:

    Hi,
What does the basket look like? Can post photo? Thanks
    Taniajura

    • Shun says:

Sorry I do not have a picture of the bike with the basket at this point of time. I will update it soon. But basically, the basket looks like just any normal bicycle basket.

  34. Mani says:

HI send the quotation for this bike and details of how to collect the bike .

  35. weihong says:

if i ride it in rain, will it cause damage to the bike?

    • Melvin Chan says:

I suppose you can use a rain coat to cover yourself & or the battery area or not ride when it’s raining. I think it’s the same as a “Motorbike”. Only this is lighter & cleaner.

  36. weihong says:

    how many colours are there?

  37. teo jannie says:

    hi shun
followin our conversation abt the electric bike
