Hi can I check what is your after service like? If the electric bike we purchase needs servicing or repair, what is your pick up charges like? It’s not convenient for us to send in ourselves since we don’t have a van. I have experience with another shop here and the bike keeps breaking down and we have to send in for repair all the time, incurring quite a huge delivery costs on us. Every trip is $25 at least which is costly considering it has got to be 2 way.

Pick up charges will be around $25. Yes I understand your issue.
What I can suggest is that, maybe you can ask around bicycle shops which are near your house whether can they repair electric bikes? ( mostly back wheel tire punctures ).
But other than that, currently there are no simple solutions as our only shop is at Aljunied and most bicycle shops will not want to repair electric bikes because it is very troublesome and maybe not worth the money/effort for them.
The problem with your previous bike was that it kept breaking down. Can I ask why? The most common problems are back wheel punctures and if you do not travel on rocky roads, that will not happen too often…..

The price on the FMT website was 729 EURO? anyway if you bring it over here, the cost will easily be $3000 and above.
By the way, how young is your child? There is a law which states that a person must be 16 years old and above to be able to ride an electric bicycle.

escooters are not allowed on roads / pavements and in almost all parks in SGP. But there’s no harm done if your kid rides it around the neighbourhood or in a private housing estate compound (condo). With a helmet of course.
the e300 is not strong enuff for adult use (long distance abv 2km or up slopes). I tried and ended up with an electric bike instead. Hope it helps.

Basically, the performance of all our electric bicycles are similar. The only difference is in the design and whether its a lithium battery or lead acid battery. I would recommend model XIao Ding Dang ($680).
